Why is Kundalini Yoga So Powerful?

Kundalini Yoga practice is a dynamic and deeply spiritual way to nourish the body and soul, by engaging and fuelling the physical and energetic bodies.

Physical movement postures and actions (kriyas) gently condition and strengthen the physical body systems. The breathwork elements (pranayama) provide and move the life-force energy (Prana) to rejuvenate the body, the mind, and the spirit. We take the time to deeply relax to integrate the effect of the session, and we finish with a meditation to connect to the core of our being, and Beyond.

Kundalini Yoga is known as the yoga of awareness. Very quickly you become aware of your energy, your state of mind, and the clarity and healing that comes with the practice. As the elements of the practice used in each class are intentional and serve a goal, you become intentional with your thoughts, how you spend your energy and apply your focus. The benefits of the practice flow from the mat into your life, infusing it with joy and lightness.

Kundalini: Yoga Like No Other!

This uplifting practice consists of physical exercise (kriya), breath control (pranayam), meditation and DEEP relaxation with gong.

The classes are 75-90 minutes long.

No class is the same, so you will never get bored! I share this practice in a way that’s easily accessible, no matter what’s your age, physical condition, or body type! Everyone is welcome!

Fall into Ease

Autumn is a welcome change for many: kids going back to school (whew), cooler weather allowing for more outdoors adventures, the promise of pumpkin pie and upcoming holidays...

As you read this, did you notice your mind jumping into to-do lists (back-to-school or Christmas shopping? Cozy crafts you'd like to get started on? Visit to a pumpkin patch?) Perhaps a little anxiety or overwhelm sneaking in?

In these kundalini yoga class series, we'll practice pranayam, kriyas, and meditations that will align the mind to support creation of your vision for the months to come. The body will be gently (but thoroughly) exercised to allow you for ease of movement, flexibility, strength and endurance. Energetically, we'll work on healthy energy circulation, balancing the chakras and stimulating a healthy flow of prana to aid you in consistent energy, a sense of wellness and joy.

Even though life isn't always easy, we are creating an intention and putting in place practices to swing into the new season with flow and ease!

The classes are open to all levels of experience and ability.

Modifications are always provided, so that you can meet yourself at your level of energy or ability.

We focus on practice with awareness, self-compassion, and a healthy dose of humour.

PLEASE NOTE: Monday and Thursday classes will feature different content, so you won't be repeating the same classes.

In-person Kundalini Yoga Classes

Space is limited to 5 people per class. Drop-ins accepted with prior notification and space allowing.

Please note: 2 dogs live under this roof, so if you have severe dog allergies please consider attending online. There are also stairs leading to the studio, so you have to be able negotiate up and down 12 stairs.

On-line (Zoom) Kundalini Yoga Classes

Zoom link will be provided after registration closer to the date of the first session.

If you have to miss a class or are not able to attend at all, a recording will be sent to you.
