Why Kundalini Yoga?


Kundalini Yoga practice is a dynamic and deeply spiritual way to nourish the body and soul, by engaging and fuelling the physical and energetic bodies.

Physical movement postures and actions (kriyas) gently condition and strengthen the physical body systems. The breathwork elements (pranayama) provide and move the life-force energy (Prana) to rejuvenate the body, the mind, and the spirit. We take time to deeply relax to integrate the effect of the session, and we finish with a meditation to connect to the core of our being and Beyond.

Yoga Like No Other!

This uplifting practice consists of physical exercise (kriya), breath control (pranayam), meditation and DEEP relaxation with gong.

The classes are 75-90 minutes long.

No class is the same, so you will never get bored! I share this practice in a way that’s easily accessible, no matter what’s your age, physical condition, or body type! Everyone is welcome!

We live in a world that has a lot to say about ageing! As we go through our own life journey, we bump against these notions and find a misfit between the roles of "midlifers" or "the elderly", and how we wish to live our lives.

Even though our bodies might not function as well as they once did, we still have a lot to say in how this "getting old" process goes!

With these series we endeavour to energize our bodies and minds, to spark up healthy function of the body and the brain.

Each class includes a warmup or a pranayam (breath control exercise), a physical set (kriya), a relaxation (might include a gong soundbath), and a meditation.

This series is suitable for beginners and experienced practitioners alike.

We will flow through the practice with awareness, self-compassion and connectedness with the intention of healing and bringing joy and expansion into the present moment.

Each session includes a deeply relaxing gong soundbath.

8 - SESSION SERIES

Loosely inspired by the "Age on Your Own Terms" series, this one continues some themes of that series.

Over these 8 weeks, I'm bringing you the weirdest, funnest, most giggle-inducing sets that also have profound energizing and healing effects on the body, mind, energy, and spirit!

Laughter and joy are some of the most powerful healers, and if you can let go of the "this is weird" judgement, I guarantee you you'll have tons of fun. Your inner child will thank you!

This series is appropriate for all levels of practitioners willing to challenge their notion of what a yoga practice is.

We will flow through the practice with awareness, self-compassion and connectedness with the intention of healing and bringing joy and expansion into the present moment.

Each session includes a deeply relaxing gong soundbath.

7 - WEEK SESSION SERIES

Our lives are just amalgamations of our habits. We do what we do, and rarely do we stop and question why. Sometimes we feel stagnant and dissatisfied, and that may prompt us to change something. Most often than not, we fall back into the "same old", as we give in to moods, whims, and disempowering but familiar habits.

This series will challenge the status quo, whether you're stuck in a breakfast rut, or your whole life feels like it needs a makeover.

A live gong soundbath during each class will give you an opportunity to deeply relax, and to let go of what can be let go of at this time.

This series is geared towards practitioners with some Kundalini and meditation experience. Adventurous, open-minded beginners are welcome.

We will flow through the practice with awareness, self-compassion and connectedness with the intention of healing and bringing joy and expansion into the present moment.

Each session includes a deeply relaxing gong soundbath.

Space is limited to 5 people per class. Drop-ins accepted with prior notification and space allowing.

Please note: 2 dogs live under this roof, so if you have severe dog allergies please consider attending online. There are also stairs leading to the studio, so you have to be able negotiate up and down 12 stairs.

Zoom link will be provided after registration closer to the date of the first session.

If you have to miss a class or are not able to attend at all, a recording will be sent to you.
