Kundalini Yoga practice is a dynamic and deeply spiritual way to nourish the body and soul, by engaging and fuelling the physical and energetic bodies.
Physical movement postures and actions (kriyas) gently condition and strengthen the physical body systems. The breathwork elements (pranayama) provide and move the life-force energy (Prana) to rejuvenate the body, the mind, and the spirit. We take the time to deeply relax to integrate the effect of the session, and we finish with a meditation to connect to the core of our being, and Beyond.
Kundalini Yoga is known as the yoga of awareness. Very quickly you become aware of your energy, your state of mind, and the clarity and healing that comes with the practice. As the elements of the practice used in each class are intentional and serve a goal, you become intentional with your thoughts, how you spend your energy and apply your focus. The benefits of the practice flow from the mat into your life, infusing it with joy and lightness.
This uplifting practice consists of physical exercise (kriya), breath control (pranayam), meditation and DEEP relaxation with gong.
The classes are 75-90 minutes long.
No class is the same, so you will never get bored! I share this practice in a way that’s easily accessible, no matter what’s your age, physical condition, or body type! Everyone is welcome!

Our glands are guardians of our health as they act on virtually every system of our body. Well-functioning glandular (hormonal) system is the very basis of physical and emotional wellness.
In this series, we'll address not just our most obvious glands whose secretions (ie. hormones) target our digestive, cardiovascular, urinary or metabolic systems, but also our "master" glands, that act as the conductor of the great symphony that is our vast and amazingly complex body chemistry.
Special attention will be given to our restorative functions, so that we can heal, recover, and restore ourselves better during the busy time leading up to the holidays and the rest of the cold and flu season.
Through carefully selected pranayam (breath-control techniques), kriyas (yogic exercise sets) and meditations, we'll energize, soothe, and balance our systems with a practice that's fun, accessible for all body types and ability levels, is quick-acting, and never boring!

We focus on practice with awareness, self-compassion, and a healthy dose of humour.
When we think about relaxation, we might visualize plopping limply on a couch, cozying up with a book and a blanket, a nap, or a leisurely bath. Chances are, we already spend a lot of time sedentary, and moving our body is a great strategy to relax our minds and bodies!
In this series, we'll explore different practices to activate the body and the breath to move the energy, circulate the blood and flush the lymphatic system. Our meditations will leave you with peace in your heart and in your mind, so that you can relax deeply and effectively on every level.
As we approach the time of Holidays, this will be a lovely antidote to all the hustle and bustle!

Space is limited to 5 people per class. Drop-ins accepted with prior notification and space allowing.
Please note: 2 dogs live under this roof, so if you have severe dog allergies please consider attending online. There are also stairs leading to the studio, so you have to be able negotiate up and down 12 stairs.
